Hau Ula Kapa Moe
Hau is a native Hawaiian tree that grows all over Hawaii with great strength and resilience. It is a flower known for its changing colors. In the morning it is yellow and as the day goes on the flower changes to red before falling. My favorite of its colors is the deep copper color it turns after falling to the ground. For some reason the flowers always seem to fall face up. The hau flower symbolizes to me change, resilience, and beauty everything we need to be during this crazy time we are living in! I hope this design will bring you comfort in the trials you face and a connection to your roots in Hawaii.
The blanket is made of 95% bamboo and 5% spandex and is 60x84" in size. It is a soft, smooth fabric with lots of stretch. Because it is mostly made of bamboo, it is very breathable, lightweight, and good for warm climates. Always wash your Kaulumaika Blanket before use to soften the fabric.
