Sewing Pattern Recommendations and Reviews
Share
As someone who loves to sew, I am always on the lookout for new and interesting sewing patterns to try out. Over the years, I've tried out a variety of different patterns from different companies and designers. In this blog post, I'm going to share my experiences with some of the sewing patterns I've tried, and give my honest review of each one.
Keiki Patterns
- Arlow Dress - This dress is so cute and is my daughter Pili's favorite. It's a great pattern. The pattern pieces were correct and true to size. The instructions were a little difficult to follow though as they were provided with illustrations instead of pictures so it wasn't as easy to follow some of the steps.
- Bayfield Button Up Shirt - This was a great pattern and they have a YouTube video to help you sew it. I would definitely sew it again and recommend it. I didn't add interfacing to the button part and I think it was just fine.
Wahine Patterns
- Kaia Romper - This romper is so cute. I used my rayon fabric on it was it was very comfortable, but I also had to add a zipper as the pattern was intended for stretch fabric and so it was difficult to get up my hips! I would like to try the dress too one day.

Overall, I've had great experiences with all of these sewing patterns, and I would highly recommend each one. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewer, these patterns are all great choices for your next sewing project. Share your favorite patterns with me below.
