I Made an Embarrassing Mistake ...

You guys came through last week!! Mahalo nui for all the love and support for the fern stamp sets! I have been so ready to share those with you all so I’m very humbled that you were just as ready to get them! In the process of posting about the sets on Instagram someone pointed out to me that I had misclassified my amau fern fiddlehead as a hapuu fern fiddlehead. I was so embarrassed and I quickly made corrections across the platforms that had the error. Although I wish I could go back and not make the mistake - I am really grateful that this person said something. The reference pictures are misleading on Google and the fiddleheads are close enough that I thought they were just varieties of the same one. Lesson learned! Can’t trust the internet (not a new lesson there) and also that it’s always better to learn firsthand from someone who knows. I promise I’m not that person who knows everything, but I am that person who will admit when I’m wrong.
