Spending Time with A Hawaiian Treasure

This weekend we got to spend time with a wonderful mentor, kupuna, and Hawaiian treasure, Tuti Kanahele. Kumu Tuti (as many know her) is a true example of someone who perpetuates the Hawaiian language. Since the day I met her she has patiently encouraged and taught us to speak Hawaiian as much as possible. She is so giving of her knowledge and time.
