Kaupu, the bird used in the traditional Hawaiian season of Makahiki. This was season of rest, games, and time with family. The Kaupu bird was part of the adornment of the Akua Lono, a long, carved staff that led the procession around the island during this time.

  • Size indicates image size, it does not include the mat size

  • Mat size is one size up from image (ie. if you order a 4x6 print, print will arrive in a 5x7, a 5x7 will arrive in an 8x10 mat and so on)
