Kokio Ula Ku Hookahi

Kokio Ula is an endemic Hawaiian flower. Unlike the common hibiscus that we typically see here in Hawaii, this hibiscus found its way to Hawaii on its own and evolved to become a unique species of its own. Kokio Ula was used in dyes and lei. Not surprising, as it is a stunningly beautiful flower and plant.
